A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to team up with Curvy Chicks Rocks Inc and a group of plus sizes models to walk in a segment of Tallahassee Nights Live. This event brings a night of entertainment full of live music and performances. It is such a cool night on the town, that I will definitely be attending more frequently. When I was asked to participate in the show I was apprehensive at first, just because I never thought of myself as a “model”. After some self reflecting and some motivation from my friends I decided to join these beautiful women in this show backing the amazing singer Browngirl M. Bishop
The Girls with Style that I collaborated with were very welcoming as I participated in my first “runway” experience. The style that these ladies have motivates me to continue to cover fashion from all sizes. The song we walked out to was New Attitude by Patti La belle , which was spot on to the vibes that I embodied that night. I learned to put my fears to the side and stop doubting myself and show my NEW ATTITUDE!!! Check out more pics of the event below.
